Overdosage

There is no known antidote for over-dosage with NAVELBINE (vinorelbine tartrate) Injection. The primary anticipated complications of overdosage are bone marrow suppression and peripheral neurotoxicity.

Overdosage should be managed by general supportive measures, appropriate blood transfusions, and antibiotics as deemed necessary by the physician. Administration of hematopoietic factors such as CSFs may also be beneficial to these patients. A preliminary study has suggested that G-CSF administration may shorten the severity and length of granulocytopenia associated with NAVELBINE,[13] but the applicability of these conclusions to overdose situations is unclear.
