This is a rare form of AML where blasts are accompanied by abnormal basophils in all stages of differentiation^[1,3]

Cytogram demonstrates an increase of cells in the basophil region of the lobularity display along with a characteristic deformation of the mononuclear population indicating blasts.^[1]
