Cytogram reveals an increased number of cells in the large unstained cells (LUC) and monocyte areas. The blasts cause the cluster of cells in the lobularity channel to shift downward and to the left. [1] |

Type 1 blasts without granules and Type 2 blasts with a moderate number of primary granules, with no maturation present. The ability to distinguish this entity from acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) solely on morphology can be difficult, necessitating other analyses such as flow cytometry.[1] |
