What Is CAMPTOSAR?
CAMPTOSAR is a partly man-made, or "semisynthetic," drug. It is similar to an extract from a plant called Camptotheca acuminata, which grows in Asia. CAMPTOSAR helps fight cancer but also has more tolerable side effects than the original plant extract.
