INDOLENT B-CELL NHL RESPONDS
Genitope of Redwood City, Calif., said that seven of 10 evaluable patients with indolent B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma had an immune response after receiving a recombinant tumor-derived protein along with GM-CSF. Data from the ongoing phase-2 trial were presented by Dr. Ronald Levy of Stanford at the American Society of Hematology meeting in San Francisco this week. The protein is made from the patient’s tumor cells and combined with keyhole limpet hemocyanin.
