We went to Tucson today and the one last blood draw they
before injection came back that my hemoglobin is low so
tomorrow he gets 2 units of blood. They will retest him
next week and if he tests in the normal range he will get
his injection. The protocall gives him 21 days from today to
able to get to the normal range so it looks pretty hopeful
that he will. It was very disapointing for my husband but
in the long run I think he will feel better because he has
been borderline for a long time. I wish I could give him my
blood but we are not a match. Oh well! Take Care, your
