Bill,
     This seem to be the same course as my hubby took. His throat was to
sore to eat solid food, so I kept him in allot of soup. Right now that part
of his cancer seems to be ok... They just found a tumor on his brain so we
are having that treatment at the moment, he again is weak, but the tumor is
in the top of his brain, so the doctors seem to think he will be fine with
this one. The other one has shrank is size, he had 40 radiation treatments,
as well as 8 chemo treatments!!!  My prayers are with you, as well as with
your mother. I gave him allot of gagorade, as well as pedilite, for adults,
and injectible shots of B complex an B 12. GOD be with you both. xo Dean
