"the words that I have spoken unto you are spirit, and are life." John 6:66

Dont' Weep For Me

Don't weep for me when I am gone
From this poor lump of clay
It only housed my spirit for a time
     Through life's little day.

Don't weep for me when I am gone
From the cares and pain of life
For we've always known that I would pass
From this whole world of strife.

Don't weep for me when I am gone
For I had all the best
    Friends and loves beyond compare
So now its time to rest.

Don't weep for me when I leave
For of such life is a part
The best and the word of experiences
With a strong and faithful heart.

Don't weep for me when I pass on
Just know I am not dead
I sent my treasures on above
     I'll enjoy them there instead.

Don't weep for me when I fade
     From walking in this world
I'm flying the flag of my Jesus
That he has for me unfurled.

Don't weep for me when I breathe my last
Because I am on the way home
To sing with the angelic chorus above
And never more here to roam.

    Glorious, precious, beautiful, wonderful
     Counsellor from above
Oh, what a glorious thing to be
Basking in the light of His love.
