Robert Brown --Low blood counts (anemia) are a common problem with chemo
patients. Our MOL guru recommends dark, leafy vegetables as a diet
aid. Your oncologist might also choose to have to have you get blood
building shots. Talk to him/her about it. I had my first shot today.
Unfortunately it's a slow build-up but then everything involved with
cancer treatments seems to be slow. Fortunately, most cancers are also
slow to grow.
