Girlfriend:  I know some chemo's are really hard to take; but you have to keep going no matter how hard it is.  Now a few tips.  Ask your doctor for something for the nausea.  Eat with plastic plates, untangles, cups and don't let anyone cook heavy foods with heavy odors.  Let me know if that all helps you.  Fondly, lillian

Dear Lillian,

Thanks for the encouragement... I made it through the chemo yesterday but have to be honest and say I feel pretty nasty today....Nausea, etc.  I also have an appointment with surgeon on Thursday to discuss port.

I just don't know if I can keep going with the chemo..

It is me again....I cannot thank you enough for providing all the great info...It seems as I opened your messages this morning, just about every other one pertained to effects I have had with chemo.

I am a little nervous as I resume my chemo in about an hour from now for first time in about 6 weeks and this is going to be the CPT11, 5FU/Leukovorin combo.  I feel there has been something going on in my abdomen during the period I was off chemo and I look forward to the ?????security of the chemo, but I am definitely a little scared about this go around.
