No, I do not have any expierence with geriatric depression; but I am soon
to get a education in it; as my mother is going through the same thing and
is presently having and evaluation. She is very delusional and it came on
fast. They believe the drug morphine triggered it and said there is
definite dementia. did it to her. Two of the Doctors and one of the nurses
has spoken with me about assisted living. I was told they will do an
evaluation as to the level of care she will be needing. I was also told
that drugs help some; but that it does not last and that this moves quickly.
