Re: [MOL] Questions about adenocarcinomaReply to E. Johnson

Dear Friend:  Please understand that we are not in the medical profession;
but will do our best to give you some information acquired from medical
sites along with some medical sites for you to go through. Before doing so,
I am very sorry to hear about your mother, will you be her caregiver at some
time? This is something you will need to be looking into. Today with most
cancers they do a two or three prong chemo treatment in lower dosages which
causes fewer and less severe side effects. If you want to go the
Alternative route then my suggestion would be to find a very good holistic
doctor, because alternative as with traditional needs to be monitored by
someone who is in the know. If not one can do more damage than good. Your
mother has lung cancer with mets to the brain , liver and kidney. This is
serious; yet never ever doubt that there can't be hope. It is amazing, when
I think of the number of cancer patients who have logged onto our forum over
the past four year's I have been on it is in the thousands and the a good
number of them were told to go get their affairs in order they don't have
much time. And guess what? They are still here, alive and well and yes a
better person for what they had to go through. There are many lessons for
all of us on the cancer journey. For anyone to demit the hope of a cancer
patient, is a cruel injustice. Hope is the battle to win, it is the sword
to sleigh the dragon. If we may be of further help, please know we are here
for you. Warmly, lillian
