Yes, Gail - sometimes He surely does - my church often refers to him as "Our
God of the 11th Hour!" And one of the Saints (one of the Catherines, I
believe) told Him, "If this is how you treat your *friends*, it's no wonder
you have so few of them!" Brave woman! I don't understand the unfairness of
it all either, Gail, but one thing I do know for sure, and that is that God
does have a master plan, no less precise than His plan for the design of the
universe. I believe we all fit into that plan, but where, we won't ever know
in this lifetime. We just have to pray and trust in His Great Plan and keep
asking for His Mercy. God bless you and your husband and I pray that He will
walk you both through these rough stormy days and lead you to the rainbow
very soon. -chris
