Hi Carol O;
Excuse me for butting in, the info. that I know about clinical trials is that
you might be able to get more info. if you go to clinicaltrials.com because there
they have lots of trials listed with the protocol and contacts. My husband has
been in one trial and we are trying to get into another. It just depends on what
the protocol of that particular study is calling for. You see they are using
humans as the mouse or whatever and they are looking for specific subjects to
study on. So it just depends on the trial and what phase it is in. The one we are
trying to get in now, you have to have no other trtmt. available that you can try
or have tried what is available and have failed. Your cancer may have to be a
particular type. His is a sarcoma and this trial is for sarcomas' only. So it
really just depends on what is out there and what type cancer you have and what
type trtmt. you have had and has it worked, etc. Hope this can help you a little,
I know it is so frustrating searching for info........Your friend in prayer for
you..........Beav
