Pat - The recommended dose of glutamine is 30 grams (three scoops a day)
for 5 days starting with the first day of chemo. That's the minimum.
Daily usage is preferred for the best protection.
It ain't cheap. Where I get it, the cost is $45 for 480 grams which
lasts about half a month. Shipping costs $6.00 but if it's order it
over the internet there is no shipping charge.
Please let me know if you find it in a health store, especially if it
costs less. Sorry I'm late with this message but it took me a while to
get through.
I'm praying for your husband. Having chemo under such extreme
