Please know we are not in the medical profession, just opinionated and years of expierence with cancer.  I  wanted to tell you. Often when a doctor does not have the answer they will refer you out to a specialist.  I have had this happen to me so many times and had to worry sick about one thing or another.  Is it cancer, is it a heart problem, is it a lung problem.  Then I start getting well, you have a tiny bit of......; but you are definitely not going to have a heart attack. Meanwhile the bills are racking up.  At this point I would not be afraid it is cancer.  Just a change in cells can mean one of a hundred of things, being tired could also mean one of a hundred things. It is just too soon to worry about cancer.  Warmly, your friend, lillian

I am 48 years old have been healthy and active all my life. Have became extremely lethargic over the past few monts. Dr put me on hormones, negative mono test. Gave penecillin for elevated white count . It went up even higher. She has now sent me to an oncologist for tests. I am concerned. Should I be?
Elevated white count
night sweats (not enough to change clothes)
extreme fatigue for several months
no weight loss
tender in belly (when examined)
Any reply would help I have no one to talk to about it.
