Has your husband had a TSH test done?  This is for thyroid levels.  When the
thyroid is not operating at the proper level dry skin is an indication.
Please know that chemo and radiation  can alter thyroid levels.  I do not
know if Thalidimide does.  I will need to research this drug more and get
back with you.  A TSH test is very very important and yet often over looked
