Welcome to our forum.  I was sorry to hear about your father; but agree with
you, that sometimes the Quality of Life is as important as Life Itself.
This is a hard pill to swallow; but you certainly show your great generosity
and unselfishness  on letting him go.  I know it is still an owieee, take
your left arm, cross it over to the right shoulder, take your right arm,
cross it over the left shoulder, now squeeze with all your might.  A big
