I had this recipe for piecrust in a church recipe
book. Could this be the recipe you
had.
5 cups floor
1 pound lard
2 teaspoons salt
1 egg
2 teaspoons vinegar
Mix flour and salt. add lard and work to even
meal. Break egg into 1 cup measuring cup. Add vinegar and fill with
ice water to measure 1 cup. Stir to mix and add to dry mixture. Mix together.
This piecrust freezes very well. Makes 2 crust pies. Thanks Ruth Daughtry,
