I agree with Kathy about this dx. Do go to a specialist on this. My
Internist misdiagnosed me for 5 yrs with this, when I had cancer. They
removed the cancer and my pain is also gone. Since it was such a long time
being dx, it had already spread to the liver. But I have certainly enjoyed
being pain free for 20 months anyway. If it is diverticulitus, she can have
surgery and get rid of that too. It is certainly treatable and curable.
