The treatment you are describing is called SRS or Sterotatic Radiation and
here is the site address. It gives you much information to make an informed
decision.
In recent cancer conferences it has been found for SCLC that using a
combination of treatment works best. In other words, the radiation (SRS) is
far easier on the patient and only kills the cells around the tumor and in
the tumor, thus sparing many healthy cells. Then a two or three prong
chemotherapy.
I know the treatment and facility; as this is where my husband went for his
prostrate cancer.
