[MOL] Metastatic Adenocarcinoma

My husband has been diagnosed as having metastatic adenocarcinoma. We
find that we weren't given enough info. by the "doctor." Basically, he
was told that he had 2 to 6 months to live and that there's nothing that
can be done for him. We have been frantically working with a nutrition
program to help him, which seems to be working. My husband was suddenly
taken from his place of employment to the hospital emergency room on May
15th, in pain of unknown origin.

Anyway, I've been trying to find out what metastatic adenocarcinoma is;
how fast growing is it, and any other information about it that might be
helpful. We're also trying to get to another doctor for a 2nd opinion,
but must wait for the clinic and the insurance company and the new
doctor to get their acts together.

I don't know who you are, but maybe you can give us a clue as to at
least what this is. We do know that it is cancer which is in his liver
and lungs, and they suspect in other places.

Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
