Dear Pat: I understand so well what you are saying, but I also understand
how difficult it is for others to treat us the same as they did before. I
have found my real friendships to be stronger than they were before I was
diagnosed, and those who weren't really my friends are no longer around. It
is difficult to be a caretaker, I know, but I'd still rather be one than a
patient! I'm glad you're doing so well. So am I. Prognosis not good nearly
three years ago. Still going "strong."
