My father's early cancer treatment was pretty bad and seemed to get scarier
by the day - then leveled off as each treatment ended. Though we didn't go
through the same set of symptoms you did, we did seem to get hit with the
worst early on. I should say that just when we *thought* it was the worst,
it got still worse. Then lots of ups and downs. Currently we are in that
calm period, but there are always heaving currents of fear just below the
surface of that water. -chris
