My father, age 63, has stage IV small cell lung cancer. He just
completed his 2nd of 6 cycles of chemo(cisplatin and etoposide),
generally he is starting to feel better. I would like to know if any
one on the MOL forum has any experience with this type of chemo, and
what I should expect. Also, I read somewhere that there is medication
that prolongs the survival time of SCLC patients. If there is any
information on this I would appreciate this. Any feedback from
survivors of SCLC would be very appreciative.
Thanks and regards,
Enver
