When Aaron was younger (less than 3), his expanders were placed under the 
skin around his mid back.  There were two of them, put side by side, that 
went from the left of his back to the right.   When they were almost "full" 
of saline (3 months of weekly injections), he would lay on his back with his 
new "pillow" and roll back and forth, from head to feet like a teeter-totter. 
 Of course this gave me a heart attack because I didn't know if they would 
bust from that kind of pressure or not!  He was fine, though - so sleep away 
- Aaron did! :)
