Lillian, my boss does lectures on stress (hah! this is not his star pupil
here) - but as to the mental institutions you speak of, they can indeed be
quite horrible! Today most (in our area) are closing up but the sad thing is
that they are throwing these people out on the street. Even the group homes
are either filled or not appropriate for the needs of those ill beyond the
point where the homes can handle them. We see them sleeping on our office
lawn,digging through trash, etc. and they come to our counseling services (no
fees charged them); it's pitiful.-chris
