Our mother was hospitalized with a blood clot in an artery and we have not
been able to get many straight answers from her. We don't know what is going
on. Many blood tests have been done and they continue to order more. What
we have gathered is that they have ruled out "everything that has come back
negative, of course!" We also know that she has an elevated level of
platelets and have sent her blood to Mayo, Arizona and California. She was
on heparin (sp?) through an IV for a week in the hospital and then pills at
home. We don't think she is taking heparin any longer. Could you please
help us know what to ask, and to whom...and what they could possible be
looking for on the vague information we have provided to you.
Do you respond to e-mail? Or do we check this site back. I am not sure how
I found the site in my cyber-search, but I will try again.
