Chris just reminded me, as she sent her beautiful Easter message, to
post this message about Passover.
On the 20th of this month, the people of Jewish faith will be
celebrating Passover. I relate Passover not only about the freedom of a
whole people from a tyrant years ago, but to those that are experiencing
illness, emotional stress of any kind and the suffering of those that
experience this disease and certainly for all peoples of every race,
creed, religion wherever in this world that suffers from intolerance.
So, with that in mind and knowing full well the history of Passover and
the meaning, as this is a joyous holiday for us, I lift my glass and say
this to YOU, to all my friends, those here, those far away, those that
have passed and will be with us in our hearts......may today we
celebrate in heart and together and that this day and this coming year
may we realize the fruition of freedom....freedom from injustice, from
illness, from persecution, from stress and God willing may we all
meet..together next year to celebrate the Glory of Easter and the goals
of Passover....to be free.
