Lillian,
We're leaving for Staten Island on Thursday a.m. early. Oddly enough I still
don't know what time our appt is. Probably because Ken's final tests are
tomorrow to determine whether or not he is disqualified. The doc at Garden
State says looks like the only thing they would expect that might cut him out
would be too much bone involvement. To the best of our knowledge the only bone
involvement is in one vertabrae and two other tiny spots. This is going to be
close because his last test is a bonescan at 4 p.m. and has to be read and faxed
to the doctor. I guess she'll have to call early a.m. or on our cell phone to
tell us turn around. We'll will be two very upset people if he's cut out
because there's still nothing out there for medullary and this is certainly a
ray of hope for us. I probably will log off MOL for the time we are gone. God,
I hate to miss anything, but I'll never be able to catch up with everything if I
don't. Pray for us.
Have you heard anything about when Chuck will be back yet? Is this another
round of chemo or something else?
Love
Peggy
