Nancy, he had melanoma Stage IV that had spread to his spine. It hit him like a truck, he had no clue until his roommate at college noticed a growth on his back. When he wrote to us recently, he was scared to death (22 years old). The hospital accepted him into a trial but it was apparently too late. God bless him, he has nothing to fear anymore.
Regards,
Dusti

I don't want to be rude but what did Andy have? I don't remember talking
to him at all. I am new to the forum. My heart goes out to his family.
How old was he? I saw a picture of him I think and he looked very young.
May the Lord above comfort him.
