I can't imagine having to fight the fight of your life solo. My success was
the result of my medical team (about six surgeons), my family and my wife's
family, my neighbors who all pitched in and did the household chores for
eight months, my coworkers who never forgot me and even people I had worked
with five years ago at another hospital. All their support, caring, and
encouragement gave me the hope, desire and confidence to be the survivor I
am today. It all contributed to me being a survivor and not a victim. So
my friend, always remember that you have the unqualified love and support
