Dear Brenda,

I was told many years ago, while we were fighting this disease that the
positive way of believing that as long as there are 40-60% of any
chance, why not believe that we can be in that positive side of the
statistics. Now there has been many subjects from many great
Psychoneurroimmunologist and Oncologists who believe that statistics
should not be part of our more positive form of beliefs for wellness
because then we tend to be confused. So, in my view, as long as there is
1% chance of any survival from any form of therapy, no matter what that
therapy is, why cant we be part of that 1%. That has been our belief and
it has proven us to be far more successful in the quest and goal for
good health. Hope you dont mind me injecting some positive word. And by
the way there have been numerous studies and reports that in primary
breast cancer and many other forms of disease with mets to liver, that
there are tremendous successes and that number continues  to rise with
the advent of newer and less toxic conventional and alternative
therapies.
