Importance: High
There is a medication that people can take that will make their pain medications more effective with out increasing the pain med. dosage. Now, you might know I can't remember it off hand; but I will look through my tons of info. and find it for you and send it to you. I was sorry to hear your mother is not up to hear the band, I know that was a disappointment for you. Too bad we can't all hear your husband and his band! Are you going with him? Band groupie, honestly! I am not too old not to know all about them!!!! LOL! Love you and will get back with you. lillian
Warmly, lillian

Subject: [MOL] Good afternoon
Well, I just got back from the place where Mom takes her treatments. Talk about a reality check. I don't think she will be able to go this weekend to watch Michael sing but he plays in Tulsa in a couple of weeks anyway so no big deal. In two weeks, she has taken 100 percocets (325 mg). Does anyone think that she should ask her Dr. to up the mg so she doesn't have to take so many pills? I do. The Cancer Care people had a guy in the treatment room making cartoon baloons for everyone and he was tying them to everyone's IV's. He made everyone from Elmo to Daffy Duck to Blue's Clue's to Tweety bird. It was a welcome pleasantry (is that a word?). Anyway, wish my basketball team luck tonight. TU is playing Miami in the sweet sixteen. Thanks for listening and if anyone has an opinion on the pain pill issue, please advise.
Dusti

Dear Dusti and Andy: You're right, Dusti. This journey changes people
forever. If either you or your mom ever need to talk, please don't hesitate
to call me. Andy called and I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him! Love, Kathy
