Dear Friends: Yesterday we read an e-mail from Joicy
regarding her dog that backed up to the couch and sat down with all four
paws on the floor. I enjoyed this little story and immediately
conjured a picture of this dog sitting on the couch.
So I have a cute one to share. We are baby or should
I say bird sitting this min. parrot, who's name is Pogo. I was told
Pogo bites hard when the lady brought him over to the house.
Last night I had decided that Pogo needed a run and he bit
me as I was opening the cage door. I walked back into the kitchen to
finish making dinner and all of a sudden Pogo lands on my
shoulder.
First Pogo wants to kiss me, was I leery, you bet; but it
ended up that Pogo kisses ever so gently.
Then Pogo whispers, yes you read right, whispers "hey
lady" and spits on my cheek. Now mind you, I thought the bird had
sneezed; but after the third round of a whispered "hey lady" and water on my
cheek I am quite convinced this bird was spitting on my cheek.
It's the little things in life that bring great
joy!
