Well, sweet Kathy, we have some dear folks in this group, fighting
very hard and yet still very kind and generous of spirit. I don't
think there is a person here who would not bend over backwards to
extend a hand of friendship to anyone, Scotty included, even now. I
know folks can do weird things when they are hurting. I just don't
think it helps to tolerate offensive behavior, and it's better to
just be up front and say so.
So, my friend, hope your day is a good one; it does my heart good to
see you doing so well. Love, Joicy

>Dearest Joicy: You didn't sound the least bit intimidated to me, my friend!
>Wow! You said it so much more eloquently than I ever could have! I kept
>thinking I shouldn't have let Scotty's arrogant, in-your-face attitude bother
>me, but it did. I'm so accustomed to kindness and humility -- and
>unselfishness -- from my friends on line here. Perhaps Scotty should have
>known about the phone calls I received when I was in the hospital in June
>after my heart attack. About dear Martha pretending to be my sister so she
>could talk to me in intensive care -- New York accent and all!!! LOL The
>flowers, cards, and concern. Marty, Nanc, Lil -- you, my friend, Chris --
>ALL of you! If he could only know what he is missing. There isn't a coward
>among us, and much of what strength I do have, I gained from my friends
>online. If he had just held out his hand (Scotty), we'd have been there for
>him, too, I'm sure.

>Thank you for being you, Joicy.

>Love, Kathy
