Debby - I know exactly how you feel. A real good friend of mine found out
in December that she has primary breast cancer, that has spread to her
liver. 40-60% chance that chemo will work (which is good, I think!). I had
two primary cancers, and surgery took care of both of them -- no treatment,
for which I am so thankful. But I have asked myself the very same question,
and at times, I feel guilty because of it, even though I realize it was not
my choice. I just feel so bad for her because she's going through so much
right now. She also has gallstones, but they can't operate because the
liver tumors are right there. I'll say prayers for you guys.
