Sylvia, you made the reference of Jewish Folklore. I heard the best story one time about a Rabbi telling this man who had gossiped to take his feather pillow to the top of the highest mountain in Israel and let the feathers out of his pillow. When the man went back to the Rabbi to let him know that he completed his task, the Rabbi then said that the second part of his quest was to now go and find every feather and put it back in his pillow. Then the Rabbi pointed out that just as he would never find every feather that was once in his pillow, the man he had gossiped about would never have the exact same reputation either. The parallels in that story really had an impact on me. I do not know much about the Jewish religion but I do know that they have very interesting parables.
Regards,
Dusti

Hi Lillian,
I found my husband 53 years ago on a blind date. We were engaged about 5
weeks later and married in six months. He retired a few years ago, but I
kept working to retain my sanity. I don't go for 24 hr togetherness. Yes,
he has been very supportive, He keeps kissing me thinking it will make the
cancer go away. But then I have friends that keep feeding me,(sending me
gifts of food, and taking me to fine N Y restaurants.) with the same hope.
Today is not such a good day, only 5 days after the first treatment, I'm
feeling some side effects, but I go with the flow, do what I can and devil
take the hindmost.
I notice a lot of Indian references in some of the mail. Am I corresponding
with American Indians? Your tell me Indian folklore and I'll tell you
Jewish. fondly, Sylvia
