Re: [MOL] Barbara Auslander Update 2-25-2000

Dear Caroline,

I am a firm believer in documentation. From the time Barb was diagnosed
in 'August of 1994, I have asked for and received and kept and
catalogued every lab report, pathology report, radiology report, blood
test results, 2nd opinion consultations, medical opinions and catalogued
them each in a filing manner that has been extraordinarily helpful to us
in many instances. Taking them to 2nd opinions, correcting our Doctors
when they couldnt take the time to review Barbs case and they would over
prescribe and just charting her successes. So, yes in my view
documentation is not only necessary but therapeutic as well. Even when
the survivor and caregiver writes journals this helps in the format of
wellness. Just my opinion.

God Bless You
