Thank you, I will look this stuff up this afternoon. Mom did go to M.D. Anderson which I believe is probably the best in the midwest. A small correction, I don't think Betty has bile duct, I think it is primary in her liver that has spread to her lungs or that in reverse. Am I right Betty? She has taken some of the same treatments as Mother so hearing from her has been helpful. I have never heard of SRS but I will check it out. I still need to send that picture, I found a beautiful one last week, it is a couple of years old but it was the last formal picture that we had made. I wonder how Andrea is doing? Thanks again Lillian, you are a neat lady.

Dusti: Ok. I know about the bile duct now!!!! Boy are you in for a big disappointment, I am a transplant from the North, and there is nothing sweet or docile about me. I would not dream of Yes Mam or Yes Sir unless I am at a party with only Southerners!!!!
Lets get down to business here: When you first came on line I do believe June and I both recommended Staten Island Univ. Hos. for the SRS treatment. The reason this Center is recommended is that Dr. Leadermen developed the technique for SRS. There are many copy cats out there; but I like the person who developed it to work on me. Only the tumors will be effected, none of the other organs that do not have cancer. You may want to re-read their information. My understanding of what I have found on Bile duct cancer is that there is a treatment for everyone????? Now our dear Betty has it; so she certainly is enlightened on the subject. love. lillian
