Dear Jeanne,
When Barb was first diagnosed she also had a pleural effusion. The way
she was able to rid herself of this effusion was to do exercise by
walking on a treadmill or walking around the block each day and slowly
increasing that activity. That was also utilized in combination with
chemotherapy. But we feel it was the change in diet and exercise that
rid her body of the pleural effusion. Just a suggestion.
