Sept. 13, 1999, report in the Wall Street Journal stated incorrectly that
National Cancer Institute (NCI) scientists have "failed" to replicate findings
showing that the antiangiogenesis compound endostatin can dramatically shrink
tumors in mice.

and Sugen to collaborate on development of anti-cancer agent(posted 04/04/99) The National Cancer Institute has signed a clinical
trials agreement with Sugen, Inc. to collaborate on the development of
SU5416, an inhibitor of angiogenesis that has been shown to inhibit the
