Re: [MOL] WBC and Platelet Counts

Hi Bess,
My Hubby went through that too, our oncologist gave him 2 units of blood two
different times, once while on Chemo and once while on radiation, but he
didn't have to miss any treatments, his were every week. He only missed a
day each time.
His platelets and wbc were both down.
I think I would ask his Doc why not give him blood and get back with his
treatments. Right after my hubby got his blood he felt so much better.
Good Luck. I'll answer anything I can for you so just ask away.
Love Ya,
Nanc ():-)
