My husband was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer in July. He had chemo
and radiation for 30 days prior to surgery using an infusion pump. His tumor
shrunk by two-thirds, and he was able to avoid a colostomy. His lymph nodes
showed involvement so he is on a year long regime of chemo. He has worked
every day that he has had treatment except for a nine day stay in the
hospital and ten days to recover at home from the surgery. Attitude is
everything along with prayer and faith in God's ability to sustain us through
all this. Hang on and hang in. Kaye
