Dear Gwen:  It was so good getting caught up on you and what your doing.
Sometimes the first backers and not the last backers; so don't you give up
hope on your book.  It is expensive to publish yourself, cheaper over in
Japan, and sometimes you can get a University to do it, perhaps if the proof
reading as a student project?  Just keep in your heart your started with all
the right motives, "to help others" and this will work. love and
