RE: [MOL] RE:Canada- Diane and june

Dear Diane: It was hard for me to quit smoking, too -- but it's been almost
two years now, and I don't even have a desire to smoke any more! I'm sorry,
but I can't imagine anyone with lung cancer still wanting to smoke. My
doctor put me on the patch, though, and I stayed on it for a long time! LOL
It definitely helped. Now I chew gum --with a vengeance. I feel so much
better now -- without the cigarettes, and so wish I had quit much sooner.
My own fault -- NOT the tobacco industry's! I KNEW what I was doing. Love,
Kathy

Yes it is Lori. I guess sometimes we all need
eye-openers in our lives. That is great about your
dad. Although I have never had a drinking problem and
can't totally understand how hard it is to quit, I can
only imagine. I do know about Cigarettes and how
		difficult that is. I am now a non-smoker for 1 1/2
		months.

		Your friend,
		Diane
