INDUCED MIXED CHIMERISM LEADS TO ALLOGRAFT TOLERANCE Physicians at
Massachusetts General Hospital have performed the first combined renal
and bone marrow transplantation in which mixed lymphohematopoietic
chimerism was deliberately induced to treat multiple myeloma and produce
allotolerance for the solid donor organ.
