[MOL] RE:

Dear Chris: I have never heard of this as a symptom of cancer, but that
doesn't mean anything. If you're concerned, by all means, have it checked!
Good luck, and I hope you find relief. Kathy in Boise

Hi,

My name is Chris and I am a 36 year old male. My problem concerns a very
itchy rectum. Over the past ten years I have seen three separate consultants
about this problem. I have been told the causes could range from hemeroids
to a bacterial infection. I have also been in hospital for treatment
concerning a fischer (split in the rectum). The itch is so intense that it
nearly drives me to distraction. I wake up in the middle of the night with
this incredible itch, it is affecting my all life! I have had everything
from creams to steroids prescribed to try and remedy the problem.

My overall concern is could this be some form of cancer. I am not passing
blood, except when I scratch the rectum.

Best regards,

Chris.
