Typical dosage for those that have malignancies is about 900 mg. Those
that have liver involvement is about 1800 mg a day. Milk thistle is a
detox and cleanser to the liver and found, in our experience, to be very
effective. Of course, continued lfts (liver function tests) should be
monitored when those that are on chemotherapy and with liver
involvement. Milk thistle to my knowledge has little to no side effects.
