Dearest Bess,
We have been a member of this forum for the past three years or maybe
longer. I have been away for the past month or so, inactive, since Barb
has endured a number of health concerns which are or were life
threatening and deeply concerning. Once again, my wife has overcome
these circumstances as we have spent almost the entire month of July in
either emergency rooms or in the hospital for surgeries and numerous
tests. So, pls excuse me if I haven't been more helpful to the forum or
to those that are in need. Frankly, I am just burned out. The story,
while complicated and complex is remarkable in the sense, that I look to
my wife, each day as a miracle, as is the beginning of each day, a
miracle, and I can't help believe and think while she continues to fight
this disease and the many complications and secondary effects from
therapies and the malignancy, that the remarkable story truly is her
dedication, her will, her determination to live. Somewhere along the
line, I would like to believe that the love we have for each other, as
it deepens each day, has something to do with that story and the
remarkable thought of the story is the love for each other, the love for
our G-d, and the love we have received from so many who have come to
know us and care.
Thank you Bess, for you and each one here who have written to us, adds
to the remarkable story for our survival. Thank you.
God Bless YOu All,
marty and Barb auslander
